Terms of Use

The “Operator” is the entity providing the Gista service (the “Service”). You can contact the Operator on any matter, including legal ones, at support@gista.ai.

Gista reads the public Telegram channels you specify, uses artificial intelligence to select posts matching the interests you describe, merges duplicate stories, and delivers a short digest to your Telegram direct messages on your schedule.

Gista is not a media outlet, does not publish content, and does not send messages to third parties. The digest is generated for you personally.

The Service is provided during beta on an “as is” and “as available” basis, free of charge for the beta period. The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, data retention, or the selection of any particular posts, and may change or suspend features without prior notice.

Post selection is performed by a language model and is probabilistic: it may miss relevant items or include irrelevant ones. The Service is not intended for urgent or safety-critical notifications.

Paid plans may be introduced later; payment terms will be published separately and these Terms updated accordingly.

An account is required to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping access to the email and Telegram used for sign-in and delivery secure.

The account is intended for personal use; do not share access to it with third parties.

You confirm that you are at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that the information you provide is accurate.

You may not use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights, attempt unauthorized access, place excessive load on the infrastructure, circumvent limits, or scrape data outside the intended functionality.

You choose the channels you track and the interest wording, and you are responsible for the lawfulness of such use in your jurisdiction.

The Service works only with publicly accessible Telegram channels. Rights to channel content belong to their authors; Gista only produces a personal summary for you with links to the originals.

The Operator is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of posts in the channels you track.

If you are a rights holder and believe the Service infringes your rights, contact support@gista.ai and we will review your request within a reasonable time.

The Gista software, design, and brand belong to the Operator. These Terms grant you no rights to them other than the right to use the Service under these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, selection accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

The Operator is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or decisions made based on (or due to the absence of) information in the digest. The Operator's aggregate liability is in any case limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service during the period in which the liability arose (zero during beta). You use the Service at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

You agree to indemnify the Operator for documented losses arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

The Operator may update these Terms; material changes are reflected in the revision date and may require renewed consent. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. The Operator may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

The data-processing consequences of account deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding the Service and supersede any prior arrangements on its subject matter.

These Terms are governed by the law of the Operator's place of establishment, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your jurisdiction provide otherwise. Disputes are resolved as provided by applicable law. Operator contact: support@gista.ai.
