Terms of Use

The “Operator” is the entity providing the Gista service (the “Service”). You can contact the Operator on any matter, including legal ones, at support@gista.ai.

Gista reads the public Telegram channels you specify and processes their posts using artificial intelligence. The Service comprises three products. Radar is a dashboard on the site: it finds companies, people, and organizations in the posts and shows the events around those you choose to follow. Media monitoring and News digest select posts matching the interests you describe, merge duplicate stories, and deliver messages to your Telegram direct messages on your schedule.

Gista is not a media outlet, does not publish content, and does not send messages to third parties. Radar dashboards, monitorings, and digests are generated for your account and are not visible to other users.

The Service is provided during beta on an “as is” and “as available” basis, free of charge for the beta period. The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, data retention, or the selection of any particular posts, and may change or suspend features without prior notice.

Post selection, the extraction of companies and people, and the labelling of event type and sentiment are performed by a language model and are probabilistic: the Service may miss relevant items, include irrelevant ones, or attribute an event to the wrong entity or type. The Service is not intended for urgent or safety-critical notifications.

If you do not open your dashboard for 30 days, collection for your radars' channels is paused; channels and selected entities are kept, and you can resume collection in the dashboard.

Paid plans may be introduced later; payment terms will be published separately and these Terms updated accordingly.

An account is required to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping access to the email and Telegram used for sign-in and delivery secure.

The account may be used for personal and work purposes. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf. Do not share access to the account with third parties.

You confirm that you are at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that the information you provide is accurate.

You may not use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights, attempt unauthorized access, place excessive load on the infrastructure, circumvent limits, or scrape data outside the intended functionality.

You choose the channels you track and the interest wording, and you are responsible for the lawfulness of such use in your jurisdiction.

The Service works only with publicly accessible Telegram channels. Rights to channel content belong to their authors; Gista only produces summaries and dashboards for you with links to the originals.

The Operator is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of posts in the channels you track. Information about companies and people on Radar dashboards is taken from those posts and is not verified by the Operator; every event links to its source post.

If you are a rights holder and believe the Service infringes your rights, contact support@gista.ai and we will review your request within a reasonable time.

The Gista software, design, and brand belong to the Operator. These Terms grant you no rights to them other than the right to use the Service under these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, selection accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

The Operator is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or decisions made based on (or due to the absence of) information in Radar, monitorings, and digests. The Operator's aggregate liability is in any case limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service during the period in which the liability arose (zero during beta). You use the Service at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

You agree to indemnify the Operator for documented losses arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

The Operator may update these Terms; material changes are reflected in the revision date and may require renewed consent. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. The Operator may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

The data-processing consequences of account deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding the Service and supersede any prior arrangements on its subject matter.

These Terms are governed by the law of the Operator's place of establishment, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your jurisdiction provide otherwise. Disputes are resolved as provided by applicable law. Operator contact: support@gista.ai.
